Aeriosa is very excited to announce their upcoming Tofino Tree Dance Community Classes and Creative Lab at beautiful North Chesterman Beach, which is situated within the Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Parks area that is also known as the District of Tofino.
Come and learn to dance with trees and appreciate all the coastal rainforest can teach us, physically, mentally and spiritually, under the guidance of our expertly-trained Aeriosa dance instructors.
The Tofino Tree Dance Community Classes and Creative Lab offers everything from daily drop-in classes for anyone wanting a short fun experience, to a multi-day workshop for aspiring dancers and performers wanting in-depth training and immersive daily practice with the option to take part in a new performance collaboration with Aeriosa company artists on the last day.
Tofino Tree Dance Creative Lab & Workshop – August 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th
Intro to Tree Dance Technique (Open Level Series) 9-11am $200 for 4 Classes (ask us about discounts for professional artists and West Coast Residents)
This progressive series will introduce you to fundamental tree dance movement skills and safety safety checks.
Tree Dance Creative Lab for for Performers 12-2pm $200 for 4 Classes (ask us about discounts for professional artists and West Coast Residents)
Composition, movement & choreography in the trees working with Aeriosa dancer artists to explore your own creativity
Pre-requisite: Creative lab participants must also register and attend Introduction to Tree Dance Technique each morning.
Daily Drop in Classes (Open Level Single Sessions) 3-5pm Daily Single sessions suitable for anyone who is ready to get a great core workout while learning some fun tree dance skills:
